Situationship Breakup
Post Body

I (20M) was in a situationship recently. We went on a couple of dates then I made my feelings known to her. Her smile lit up when I told her as she tried to cover it, she suggested we go on our first official date. After the first date she told me that she wanted to take things slow and on her pace, which is perfectly fine with me as her 2 previous relationships ended very badly for her. We went on quite a few dates, had late night convo’s under the stars, went to church together, everything went great. She then told me that it doesn’t look like I wanted to be in a relationship as I am not doing living out all my love languages. Keep in mind that we are following her pace and I didn’t want to overwhelm her. After that she told me that she thinks we would be better of as friends. She told me this a small while after her friend told her that our relationship looks more like a friendship than a relationship, I did bring that point up and asked her if she came to this decision because of her friends comment and she said no. Please keep in mind she and her friend are both great girls and no toxic behaviour whatsoever.

Any idea as to why some people are like this?
