I'm f26 autistic and I've noticed what's been holding me back from trying new things or even things I just enjoy doing is internal shame. I learned that alot that people with autism suffer from this usually having to do with perfectionism. I've been wanting to get back into painting and drawing, but anytime I do I end up so frustrated that I almost start crying. It's like I'm so scared to make a mistake. I've giving myself grace, but this is the one thing that has been the hardest to overcome. Any suggestions? Any autistics out there have been through the same thing?
