Should I move to London or Boston?
Post Body

Context, I’m 25M and have two job offers. One from London that pays £40,000 (~$53,000) and one from Boston that pays $90,000 (£70,000).

Both jobs will require me to work more than typical 9-5 but probably the one in Boston will require more work. The main thing I’m struggling with is living costs, time off and quality of life.

Boston has higher living costs (I need to get a car) and rent is generally higher. However, I only get 15 days off a year compared to 25 in London.

I have lived in London before and have a good social network there. I also really enjoyed using it as a base to explore Europe. I do not know anyone in Boston.

In short, I’m afraid that If I move to Boston that I’ll have money, but no one to spend it with and that I’ll get burnt out with the lack of holiday.

I really don’t know what to do
