I recently re connected with a distant cousin from my moms side at a wedding and through conversation realized that we shared similiar hobbies / interests in the outdoor recreation / sports. When i saw him at the wedding he looked heavily under the influence of some kind of drugs, which i later find out to be either benzos or ketamine. Regardless of the red flag w the drugs We planned a trip together and went camping, throughout the trip i would see him snorting powders and i would ask him what it is and he would give me different answers and occasionally speak in the third person as if someone else was listening, i understand people can be paranoid but this was just strange. I eventually find out that its ketamine hes doing, he ran out yesterday and cut our trip short saying he wants to go home, i have a feeling its the drugs. He also constantly contradicts himself and says rude things randomly when on the phone or to me, and sometimes gets very upset over small things. I dont know if its worth traveling with him or spending time with him, i tried talking to him about the drugs but to no avail. He denys he even uses drugs infront of me when he does it infront of me as if someone is listening again! Feel like im at a crossroads with this person. Help me understand what im feeling please!
