Do you think Im fair asking for at least a full tank of fuel when my car is borrowed for huge trips?
Post Body

I have a friend that uses my car to take another friend to his gfs. At least 3x a mth. This friend of his puts fuel in. But leaves it at what I gave him. Which usually Im ok with. So If I gave a car with 1/2 a tank of fuel. He gives it back with the same.

The trip is 6 hrs round. So there and back. My car is only $60 for a full tank and they can get there and back on 1 tank (I did 6hrs on 1 tank myself)

Im usually one to at least give me back in fuel what I gave it. But with how often these trips are happening. My kms on the car have gone up hugely and Im having services more often. I have gone up 42k km this last 12mths. The last service cost me $480 because it needed a bigger service this time. Im getting 4 services a yr at the moment. Usually is 2 minimum.

In starting to think I should be getting some more with my car being used. Like at least full tank of fuel to say thankyou. Or maybe money to my service.

Do you think it's fair for me to ask more?

Im still under warranty the car so have to keep up with services on the dot with time to make sure warranty is valid. Or id do them myself.
