Neighbors are super loud above me. First step?

Just moved into an apartment on first floor. The people above me are SUPER loud - like stomping/running rolling stuff like that. Not music or anything but it goes on all day and late into the night (11-12). I've only been here 3 days. Should I go to them directly and address it right away or talk to the management and have them address it? The neighborhood is not great but not terrible so I’m not sure about my safety yet. Also I don’t want to be an asshole. It’s just super irritating already. (I suspect they have a toddler that is learning to run/walk honestly)
