For context, we live together but he's been staying on friends couches for the last couple days due to rockiness in our relationship. As such, I wouldn't usually worry because I understand he's just taking space he needs. However, he was insistent on coming home last night, has me pick up his charger from work and told me he would see me at home three separate times through the day. I haven't heard from him since 7pm, it's now 9:30 am. His phone isn't dead cause my calls go through and ring through to voicemail. My question is, would it be appropriate for me to call his mom and check to see if he is at her house cause I know he stays there sometimes and I genuinely don't think he'd disappear on me like this after being so insistent on coming home last night, and I'm actually surpassed being paranoid that he's cheating and I'm just plain worried about him now.
