So me and my girlfriend have tickets to go see one of my favorite bands who I’ve never seen in July, we’re pretty excited about it. The venue is really nice, it’s about 2 1/2 hours away from us which doesn’t really bother me. Here’s the issue, the band recently announced another show in August at a venue that’s only about an hour away from us. This show will also be featuring two other supporting acts but the ticket prices are about the same as the ones we already have. As for the supporting acts I’m somewhat familiar with one of them but have never heard of the other. If I resell our current tickets I’ll be losing about 40 dollars, and that’s IF I’m able to sell them at the highest recommended price, so there’s a good chance I’d lose more money than that. We’ve also both already put in vacation time for the day of the original concert. The date for the new venue however wouldn’t require us to put in any time off. There a lot of pros and cons for each concert. So my main question is, do you guys think it would be worth it to sell my current tickets and go to the closer venue, Or would I be better off just keeping my current tickets?
Also the band I’m going to see is warrant, if that makes any difference.
