I could use care package ideas for a long hospital stay.

I have never been in the hospital for long, so I have very basic ideas so far. Snacks, soaps. My very dear friend was admitted last night for pregnancy complications. She is looking at an 8 week stay at least. She's 36, can't knit and is worried sick about her other 2 little ones at home. I want to get her some stuff together to lift her spirits, but not be useless while she's there.

Any ladies who has been stuck in a hospital pregnant, I'd particularly love to know anything that help sooth, passed time, good reading?
