I'm currently in Australia QLD - I'm currently renting privately in a home and my landlords have come to my door and opened it up to ask about the smell. I live with my partner and he occasionally smokes the green. Theyve said the smell has floated all downstairs and that they can't even stand at the doorway without the smell hitting them. The landlord has also said that the lease is expiring one year. I have signed a lease almost year ago now (January 2022) and there is no end date for the lease. They were fine both verbally stated when we were signing the lease to have no end date as it is easier. I'm currently freaking out as I have no source of income and my partner is on a very low income just barely scraping by. Can my landlords do this or can I fight them on this ? What do I do - help please
