Hi, I (21F) met "Jack" (31M) on a blog of a mutual interest. He reached out to me and said that he was looking for something serious and that he would like to see where things go. I agreed to see where things go. I noticed that he doesn't text me much and he texts me more during the evenings. It has been like that since we met. We live 1,5 hours apart.
For our first date he drove all the way to meet me for just 4 hours and we had fun. I felt comfortable with his and he said he felt the same and that he would like to keep seeing me. I wanted to keep seeing him as well.
I thought we would start texting a little more often now after our date, but it sayed the same.
My question is: is this normal for men? Should i worry that we don't text as often? Should i give it more time since it's so new?
I like the guy and eventho we disagree on things we respect each other and that's something i find really important.
(Please try not to only focus on our age gap, i am fine with it and i am turning 22 soon)
UPDATE: i stopped texting him first and haven't heard from him since, it's been 3 weeks. I guess i was more into him than he was into me.
