How do I find my boyfriend more attractive?

He’s not really my type and I tried to get him to grow out his hair because I love long hair on guys but he buzzed it all and it completely killed any attraction I had for him. I don’t want to break up with him though because he’s really a great guy and almost too good to be true in a way besides a couple minor things. I just don’t know what to do to find him more attractive.
