I’m autistic and not particularly good at talking to people I don’t know well in general but I do want a better relationship with him as his godfather. Except he’s two years old and can barely speak but everyone in my family says I should actually speak to him so he learns to talk instead of awkwardly and silently hanging out with him. Also, I’m interested in philosophy, poetry, and things similar to that which I don’t think is appropriate to talk about with a toddler.
How can I talk to him? What do I talk about?
