I m30 and my partner f32 have just found out that we are going to be having a baby. I have always wanted to be a father, I have so much love to give and so much I wish to teach and pass on. I always thought that when I found out I’m going to become a father, that I would be lost for words with joy and excitement. However upon hearing the news, to be surprise I did not experience this. Instead I just feel fear and dread. Obviously my partner and baby are going to be my priority, but this reaction and feelings I’m having, are they normal? I’d love to hopefully learn I’m not alone in feeling this way, because honestly I feel like a terrible person right now for feeling this way Thanks for your time, Nath.
