okay so for context, i live in the deep countryside, and a common practice here is to leave dead farm animals out in the open in a "specialized" field a few miles away from any houses or so that vulture will eat the meat (good for the vultures, and a free way of getting rid of dead animals for farmers). i often (once every two years or so) go there to take sheep bones, skulls etc etc... my neighbors know about that, i'm allowed to do it, they know about it and all. the problem is that a month ago, i went there with my dad to look for skulls. i looked for alredy cleanned ones, and found tree with an okay coloration. One of them looked a bit odd. a bit long, but i didn't really payed any more attention. i'm usualy smarter then this, i promise. but today, after letting the bones soak in cleaning products for a month, i finally took a closer look at them. problem is, the odd skull isn't a sheep skull. its a canine skull. for the first time i got to take a look at the teeths, and they are carnivore's teeth. the orbit shape is very dog or fox like. at first i thought it was a fox that my neighbors shot and then just decided to dump with the sheeps. but then i remembred that their dog died a few month ago... i think they left the dog's corpse to be eaten by the vultures, and i think i took it home. i'm going to go put it back when i'll have the time, but how do i explain this to my dad ??? wtf do i do ??? i'm horrified, yet i'm kinda laughing at the horror of the situation. wtf help what do i do ??? maybe its just a fox, bc why wouldn't they bury their dog, but it's kinda big to be a fox. wtf do i do ?? what do i tell my dad ??? he will be horrified. do i tell the neighbor ??? wtf do i do help i'm panicking
