What are some financial tips to start now to escape the rat race?

I am a 27yo female living in the U.S and I have not been the best with money. And also did not learn any good money habits from my parents. At this point in my life I am becoming discouraged with having to work everyday in an industry/job that I dread and is not fulfilling for me and I can’t picture doing this for the rest of my life.

The purpose of this post is to ask for advice on how to get better with money now so that eventually I can become financially successful enough to not have to trade my time for a salary.
