I’ve been going to the gym since January and I have not made any friends yet. Just so you have a visual of what I look like I’m in my 20s, 6ft 4, 215, muscular and I struggle with social anxiety. I try to look approachable but I have resting bitch face, especially when I’m by myself, so I completely understand why I haven’t made any friends yet. I’m one of those people who look mean, but as soon as I start talking, I’m all smiles and love to make people laugh. I feel so bad because I walk past the same people every single day and we never speak, just look at each other. It’s a little awkward but I do want to break the ice and show people that I’m pretty cool and easy to talk to. There’s a few people that I’ve had my eyes on in regards to being gym buddies with, but I’m always hesitant to speak. Any tips on what works for you in the gym? Thanks
