How are we meant to respond to complements? Not just on appearance but for work achievements? I normally ignore them, head in the sand and get super awkward about it. Usually just not responding either in person, obviously changing the subject or just ignore the email with it in. But seriously what should we say. Thank you seems too generic. What body language should we use to seem confident in our acceptance of the compliment? It has happens a few times and I have been low key mocked over how uncomfortable I get in these situations, until I very quickly nope out.
