i need to quit my job. i work over night so i planned to tell them in the morning that tonight(wednesday night) would be my last shift. after much thought is it even worth the hassle? should i just let them know hey i quit and i’m not coming in

i was invited to an event that can boost my chances of doing the things i actually love. if i go i’d have to call off thursday night and sunday night and i’d probably get fired bc i already have 3 write ups.

i have a second job so i won’t be terribly affected by quitting this job. i’ll just have to cut back on miscellaneous purchases and if things don’t work out i have enough saved to be financially okay for about 5 months it’s enough time to get another job.
