I made a date ideas jar for my future SO, how do you think it would be received?
Post Body

In my last relationship I was immature and didn’t put alot of effort into dates once the “honeymoon phase” was over. I’ve had time to reflect/grow over the years and one of the ways I thought to help with this was to make a jar of date ideas. It’s a bunch of wide-popsicle sticks that have a color painted tip (each with its own unique complimenting pattern because I’m extra AF lol) to indicate the category of the date ranging from simple or stay at home up to big things like trips (I tried to keep it vague so it’s flexible). I artificially aged the paper, used calligraphy & ink, tied the little papers around the sticks using twine, and put them all in a large glass jar with a label called “The Date Jar” and a key indicating the categories. I add to it each time I feel like I have a great idea.

I obviously haven’t met this person yet, but I did it as a way to get excited for what’s to come and assure myself I learned from the past (or aspiring to anyway). If you met someone who had something like this, would it be romantic or would it be kinda weird since he made it before he knew you? Trying to figure out if I should scrap the idea or keep it.
