I'm 28, childfree and got sterilized. I've tried all the dating apps... for years. Matches have generally been bottom of the barrel, often with two kids, dead-end job, no real aspirations.

From the dating apps, a FWB resulted; but she lived in a different state. And we were not a good match anyway.

Sometimes writing these advice requesting posts helps me think through what I should or should not do...

I believe the two most viable options is to learn how to talk to women at bars and go out weekly or just give up entirely (which I'm nearly there) and just jerk off for the rest of my life.

Since graduating college two years ago, I've put too much effort into online dating. It's very one sided. I could try to go to events and activities of interest, but egh. Seems like a pretty round about way to meet women. I also just don't want to drive an hour to do them (in the nearest larger city). But I guess that's a third option to pursue... I'm just so fed up with trying so much.

I'd prefer to have a third wheel situationship. I like talking and a fuckbuddy/fwb is usually more about only fucking and no discussions. So as a third wheel, it might be ideal.

Any other suggestions? The two largest hangups are meeting women and how most of those few women have or want kids. I don't.
