New to AL, is there a S9 Character Sheet, How to start?

Just now looking into Adventurer's League.
The Adventurers League Player & DM Packs don't look to have Character Sheets. Can we just use the default sheets?
Also, older seasons seem to have features this one doesn't (like a DM sheet to track the adventure at end, DCI numbers, etc).
Is there a changelog somewhere? Or or a "how do you start DMing"?Does it have to be games in shops, or can your homegames count as long as you follow the rules?
