Alright, so my daughter and I have decided to wade into AL. I get the basics, and have devoured the bits that were available from the DM Guild download. But combing through this subreddit it seems like there’s a whole lot of other knowledge and strategies out there in how to play AL. Discords and online play to supplement your IRL availability, trading items, something known as evergreen items (couldn’t find what these are in the given AL packet), etc.

So is there a good comprehensive guide about AL? Somewhere that kinda explains all this and boils it down? Stuff like, how does playing AL on discord work? Is it like a text based game, or setting up a voice chat or something?
