Post Body

I'm a GMIT and of course do the interviews and have been helping pick the team members we want to hire. I think someone at one of my 2 stores gave me personal number to one of the applicants we didn't pick and I am PISSED. Does no one realize that is just plain rude? I have a feeling I know who it is, but to get a text on my day off "hey this is X. I haven't heard anything about my application status, when can I expect to hear back?". Again, I work at 2 stores and so I'm only at the store this guy applied to 3 days a week.

Am I overreacting or is this highly inappropriate?? Obviously I'm not hiring this applicant. I think they know the guy we did just hire and that new guy may be getting a write up immediately, as I did tell the one GM. I'd write him up, at least.
