We're hosting our first ever car show and I think we have a good basis but need to make sure we're thinking of everything. It's May 4th, and on the FB event we have 78 interested, 4 committed. I've called the town police and neighboring businesses to give them a heads-up since we share a parking lot. I've contacted several food trucks, we're going to have all hands on deck to do judging, socialize, boost sales, etc. (our labor budget is blown anyways for the quarter - fixing the store) a 50/50 raffle for a charity of the winner's choice, and the #1 best in show gets a 5 gallon bucket of wash and wax of their choice, second runner up gets a $20 gift card.
What else should we consider/include? I'm thinking of renting a few cones as well for employee parking in the back so we have somewhere unless we want to enter.
