Remembering the day I proposed to my ex… Went back and read the poem I wrote her. Can’t believe I let my insecurities destroy the one thing that mattered most to me. I miss her. We weren’t perfect by any means but we loved each other and I’m such a fool for only believing it now that she’s gone.
Go to therapy, learn to love yourself, and don’t let something from your past hold such a strong control over you that you self sabotage the things that matter to you. Don’t do it for anyone but yourself. Please learn from my mistake. If you struggle with insecurities seek help and start practicing self compassion and self love, you’ll thank yourself later.
