Being poor scares me

What does everyone do for work? How did you get there? Are you happy?
I'm considering accounting or something similar or even completely different. No idea what I'm doing with life. I recently got a nail license!! Cause I like doing nails, but I want a bachelors that would be profitable, like 100k USD in 5-10 years or something like that.
If anyone could recommend something that isn't computer software engineer or programmer that would be great haha!
