Something broke my window. I panicked and called the cops because I thought it was a break-in. They walked around and didn't see anyone. After they left I found this. The gate to my backyard was also maybe more open then I left it. I am sleeping elsewhere tonight, but what's my next step?

Can insurance cover a window that maybe just broke from heat stress (southern US is pretty variable weather rn)? Who do I even call to fix this? No notable debris to signal maybe something thrown, but I didn't look outside.
