I just started looking at Reddit personals recently, knowing it is likely that I was going to encounter a lot of scammers. Sure enough, the first few I found, after chatting with them briefly, we’re only interested in me subscribing to their Onlyfans pages.

Then I came across someone that I didn’t think fit that category. We were chatting on Reddit for a while, and she even sent me a selfie post how I requested, so at least I knew I was talking to a female, and I knew what she looked like. Soon after that, she asked me to chat with her on telegram. I had a feeling this was a red flag, but didn’t know how scams involving Telegram would work. I shifted the conversation over there just to find out. It wasn’t long before she started asking me for $30 so she could get high while we had sex, and when I told her that she could partake on her own, but I can’t be a part of anything to do with acquiring drugs, The conversation then shifted to her needing to get BC pills bc she didn’t want me to use a condom, And she asked for the same sum of $30 for that. When I told her BC can be free if you try, She started making claims that I “ wasn’t serious” even even though I suggested a day, time, and approximate meeting location. There were other clues in the conversation that made me think I was possibly just talking to a chat bot. The girl in the photo seemed unsophisticated, but could be working with someone else.

After I strung the conversation along for a while to see where it was going to go, they totally bailed. I have the girls photo, I’m wondering if it’s OK to post it here.
