Serenity Studios is a 3k square foot, fully furnished BDSM studio (dungeon) that offers rentals to anyone needing space for podcast, video, photo and networking.

They have two room the big main room has a stage with hard points for suspension, St Andrew's cross and spanking bench on the stage. More crosses and spanking benches throughout the large room including a very rare double spanking bench. The have a second hard point and a medical play bench with 110v electric outlets.

The smaller room "Hell" my favorite room had red lighting spanking bench, bondage bench, a couple of St Andrew's crosses, a cage, a massage table and a chair for boot blacking and foot worship.

The have plenty of couches to sit relax watch scenes or do aftercare and plenty of tables to put drinks and toys on in both rooms.

Rules:

Consent! ALL must be done with consent. "NO' means "NO!" Safewords must be respected. Safewords are "Red, Yellow and Green Practice SSC and *RACK (at this Members Only party SSC only at public play parties) No phones allowed in any rooms except bathrooms and smoking patio No alcohol or drug usage (including 420)

Serenity Studios, like most dungeons (there are a couple of exceptions) does not allow alcohol or drugs of any kind (except caffeine 😆) on premises or anyone to attend who appears to be under the influence or Intoxicated. NO EDGE play at any other public parties) DM warnings and instructions must be followed Do not interrupt a scene (bring all concerns to the DM) Clean equipment with sanitizers after use These rules are very similar to and typical of Members Only parties at most dungeons (studios). So are the stricter more restrictive rules at public parties.

The party:

There are complimentary drinks (sodas, water) and snacks. People may bring their own drinks (non alcoholic) and snacks (no edibles no snacks with THC).

This party was well attended but not crowded (probably 30 or so people) which is great usually there was 4 or 5 scenes going on at the same time leaving plenty of furniture available to use.

Most of the people at this party being a Members Only party already knew each and were partnered or had play partners already arranged (no much pick up play).

There is not much "pick up play" at most dungeons even on public parties. It is usually best the come with a compatible partner to play with. I will say in my experience going to Serenity the last year or so and going to the other SoCal dungeons the last several years, Serenity is usually much above average in opportunities for pick up play versus most dungeons in my experience. Pick up play does not happen much at dungeons, most people prefer to do BDSM play with people they know and are comfortable with for obvious reasons. There are usually not many unpartnered submissives or unpartnered Dom / Dommes at dungeon play parties available or looking to play unfortunately for unpartnered people.

There was plenty of good impact play scenes, a suspension rope scene, a really nice sensual scene by a younger couple. Some people were doing high protocol.
