So where I live, it JUST got cold for the winter a week or two ago and I'm having a hard time maintaining my pump schedule because I don't want to take all my layers off! That, and the pump itself is cold when I put it up to my breast. My supply has dipped a little according to my wife and I'm positive it's because 1. I'm freezing and pumping sounds too chilly 2. Cold boobies = poorer circulation.. any of you ladies that are actually used to cold weather have pointers on how to keep warm while inducing? Is there a way I can warm up the part of the pump that touches my skin? (I have a Medela manual) a hot cup of tea or coffee during sessions helps, but I'm still extremely chilly. Hand expressing over my shirt is better than nothing, but the pump is definitely a bit more effective for me initially so I need to figure out how to make it comfortable again. Any advice?
