Keeping in mind that I'm not producing yet....Obviously it makes sense to me that not going more than 5 or 6 hours is best to keep from signaling the body to not produce, but that means for me, that I would need to be up twice during my sleep time. On work nights, because I'm usually awake by 4:30 and up by 5, I'm in bed by 8:30 alot of times. I'm hesitant to wait till 2am but also want to take advantage of the higher prolactin levels between 2 and 4 ish depending on the source you read... That would be almost 6 hours if I pump at 8:30...I prefer not to pump after 3am because I'm afraid I won't go back to sleep getting up that close to 5am. So, should I get up around 12:30 and again at 2:30ish?? I don't really want to get up twice BUT I will if that's what it takes. Thoughts?
