Minor Housekeeping: About the book 30 Days of Inducing
Post Body

Hey folks,

Tonight is the second time this week I have seen this come up, so I'm going to go ahead and nip this in the bud right now so hopefully I don't have to keep dealing with this or worrying about too many more people going around the sub saying this: apparently, this book suggests that inducing is possible by pumping only 3 times a day. So when someone is asking if it's possible to induce if they can only pump X number of times, this book keeps being brought up. The sub's stance on this is that there is not enough evidence to support that and there are too many accounts of people needing to pump more than that to be able to induce for us to believe that it's that simple. There may be some people who can, but we prefer to err on the side of what evidence we do have from this community and insist that it takes more than that so as not to instill false hope since the majority of people seem to need to stimulate way more than that to induce.

Please do not quote this section of the book anymore in this way, or I'm going to have to ban all mention of this book at all and I'd really not like to do that. I haven't read them personally (didn't need to because I got everything I needed to know for how to induce right from this sub), but I know folks have brought them up before. We all know there is limited info or resources out there on this topic and I don't want to be limiting, but we also refuse to allow misinformation to run rampant on this sub as much as possible. Thank you.
