... and was the best xmas present to show up today lol After seeing the skin damage from the Pumpables pump (the vibration of the Super Genie was just too much for my skin apparently 😞, made it peel, even with lots if lube and on comfortablelow settings), we made the decision over the weekend to put an order in for the Limerick Joy. It was scheduled to arrive on the 26th but arrived today!

With my husband's help we were able to dial in the settings to mimick as close to his suckling as possible. 😊 As I can feel him suckling but can't tell how fast or slow he suckles, or how much of a vacuum he creates in his mouth.

Have only single pumped with it once so far. Definitely more comfortable than the other pumps ...

• the Limerick, for those that aren't aware, uses compression and vacuum only, no suction motion like the other ones -

  ... my nips barely moved but I felt and saw compression less than an inch around where my nip and areola meet, which is where my husband says he has found to be the sweet spot for him. I was able to see it with my left, but not as much on my right - the tempermantal one. Next session will be trying double pumping, so will see how that goes. 😊

It was definitely an investment, and my last pump I will ever buy. I have exhausted officially, after 6 years of inducing on and off, the pump market lol Am really hoping this will be the one! I read that it's the preferred pump by professionals to induce, especially for those who are dealing with nicu.
