I had the luck to realize a friend has the same interest the other day and we decided to go for it and see if it worked for us. We both were looking for platonic nursing which can be difficult to find.
It ( dry nursing ) was amazing. Immediately comfortable. So connecting. I could wax poetic for hours on it.
Anyways. I went to work after and realized my arthritic knee wasn't bothering me as much. Generally when I put on my 15lb bookbag with my work stuff I immediately feel it in the knee, have to walk slower and be more careful of how I step with that knee. Not saying it was like it was healed all the sudden. But it went from being pain to discomfort.
My mood at work was great. Something that would have miffed me the day before didn't phase me.
I have a followup list and I have struggled to make contact with this. It felt like a chore. Just...uhg. that day I was on it. Just bang bang bang.... Getting in done. After three days I am caught up to where I need.
It's only five days later wishing I could connect with that person again and thinking 'I felt so good, relaxed' that in hindsight I'm making some connections here.
Has anyone else felt like nursing, even dry nursing really just boosted your mental health or mood?
