My Mom shamed me for inducing
Post Body

So I’ve [22F] been inducing for 2 months with Newman goldfarb and pumping for a month now. I started off with drops but within 4 weeks I make around 1-1.5 oz a day right now.

My mom found my pump and now she says she can hear when I pump cause we live in a small house. She said it was a weird fetish and starting shaming me and saying it was unhealthy 😫 now I just feel embarrassed and I told her to just try to support me because I’m not doing anything wrong.

I’m still gonna continue with pumping and increasing my supply, but it’s just annoying when I’m pumping and she’ll walked by my closed door and says, “oh I can hear that thing that’s so weird”. I use a baby Buddha pump and it works super well but it’s kind of loud.

Ugh. Just venting but anyone else with people in their lives that shame them for lactating? I don’t understand it.
