Adding heat
Post Body

So I haven't done much looking into the benefits of adding something warm to you chest while pumping but I know it can be beneficial. I bought myself a Warmies stuffed animal for my period cramps a few months ago but I've started using it while pumping and i love it! Not only is it just really rice to cuddle something soft and warm while pumping it seems to have helped as my very first time using it I got a nice milk bead! Much too white to still be duct fluid, and it's the first time I've gotten any in the flanges instead of just while hand expressing after. Absolutely would recommend in place of a heat pad if you have access to a microwave, it can even smell super nice if you add just a little essential oil to the bead bag in it. Are there any downside to using heat while pumping? Should I be careful how often I use it?
