Am about 4.5 months into inducing. No dom. Using supplements, keeping well hydrated (80-120 ounces a day), eating healthy (no foods with preservatives or seed oils due to health issues), pumping every 4 hours for 15-20 mins, suckling in early morning & late evening for 15 mins on each breast.

My husband mentioned during our 10am suckle, that he's now tasting a little bit of coconut. I had coconut nut milk with my breakfast this morning! Before this session he was tasting something different in his mouth but it didn't have any taste he could tell.

We also timed it to see from letdown to when he wasn't getting anything, and it lasted almost 5 mins in total - from one breast. I also timed my letdown, when he started tasting something, that started around 4 mins in.

He's been able to get something with suckling for 2 weeks now, from both breasts. He says that when he tasted coconut this morning, it felt like it was more than a little drop as he could really taste it. Said, amount he tasted was more like he has taken a very little sip of taste testing sip of coconut - enough to wet his palette to see if he likes something. With hand expression or the pump we see very small to small beads on a regular basis, something a medium bead. No pooling, no drips.

We also noticed that between my left breast (pumped) and my right breast (suckled), the left still felt a little fuller, skin still a little tight. The right breast felt very soft and jiggly, no tight skin at all.

When I induced last time I was expressing about an ounce, I would taste my milk and it would taste either like coconut milk or almond milk, depending on what I was drinking most that day.

Am finding the differences so fascinating.
