My partner is flirting with the idea of inducing. This is the "idea" phase more than a plan.
Context: she's in her early 50s and has never been a mother.
When we investigate the drug-free route, she says it sounds very time consuming (which it totally is!) Reading through the potential side effects from Dom sounds scary (but don't all drug warnings?)
(1) So question one: will anyone share the not-so-positive stories if you had any about Dom. If you did have unwanted effects, were they harsh enough to make you stop or change course? I'm not looking for fear-pxrn. I'm just asking for the honest answers. Or maybe you had annoying effects, but not enough to make you stop and try a different method. Or maybe you had none at all and you'd totally do it again. Any answer is the right answer. Make sense?
(2) Next, as I read through the prior posts, it sounds like many of you were mothers years prior and then re-induced later. Are any of you who were never mothers willing to share your stories of success? Did your results seem to mirror the more common stories in the group? Or did you seem to face more/different problems? I know you can't know someone else's inner experience, but take a best guess.
(3) She started HRT for peri-menopause which once she got the right doc who actually listened and care (can we spend a collective minute raging about how American medicine serves women so incredibly poorly?!?!?)
Sorry. I got sidetracked. Once she got a good, balanced HRT regimen, it's been awesome for her. Is the blend of estrogen and progesterone helpful for inducing? Working against? Neutral?
