My husband has been suckling for a little over a week now. It took him a little bit to figure out how to properly suckle. Since he found it, the last few days he's been tasting something more than saliva in his mouth, and this morning he said - excitedly - he might have felt a spray hit the back of his mouth! He is consistently getting something while suckling now 😊 I know he's getting something because had expression is producing larger beads, and one of them slowly drips down. Color is still a little green, light yellow, and clear when I had express. Only getting small beads still when using electric pump. Now that I definitely can't just hand express without something to catch what's being expressed, am going to pick up a new manual pump today, so can use it with my lacteck silicone flanges - as I have a feeling they might mimics how he's suckling. He showed/explained to me how he's doing it as all I know is that I relax more into him after feeling pin pricks on my nipple tips - my letdown, which I now how confirmation from him that after I mention I feel that, he tastes something.
