New primary doc and mammogram
Post Body

I'm seeing a brand new to me primary care provider this week and also I'm past due for a mammogram. I'm wondering how to explain my kink and can I get a mammogram now while I'm 6 weeks into inducing and have definitely grown breast tissue and "milk duds" as my husband calls them. I have dense breast tissue and have had to have the ultrasound in the past due to it.

I'd love to hear how others have brought it up to providers. I prefer not to make up a story about a family members baby because we live in a very small community and I know one of the girls in the office.

I know some people just jump right in with the truth and that's what I lean towards but I'm also open to ways to do that.
