I've been trying to follow the Newman Goldfarb protocol for the last couple weeks but have already had milk come in even though most sources say it should be suppressed during this stage. I have been taking one combination birth control pill per day and 80mg of domperidone (20mg, 4 times a day). I did not start out with 40 mg a day for the first week like I was supposed to. I now have enough milk for sprays and am having trouble hand expressing all of it out. Should I start pumping? I wanted to do Newman Goldfarb because my breasts aren't very developed but the fact that I have milk already when I'm not supposed to is throwing me off a bit. Should I just go off the protocol? Also, I did have to reduce my domperidone intake to 40mg a day because my supply is low and I need to make to last until another shipment arrives. Any advice would be appreciated.
Note: I have never been pregnant before and this is my first time lactating so this is all very new to me.
can I ask how long you've been following the protocol & taking Dom, like how many weeks? I'm already on birth control, and I wanna start back inducing soon. I'm planning on placing an order for Dom soon & I'll start back pumping too
