Day 6 on Dom: excellent progress! (No BC, never been pregnant)
Post Body

Hello all my fellow inducers, especially the ones who’ve never been pregnant and aren’t on BC. I know it’s more of an uphill battle for us.

I started inducing in late april with a pump and suckling. Introduced a tens in May and today marks day 6 of taking dom. In the early stages, there wasn’t much to speak of except for tenderness, some growth, cycle changes, and a few clear/yellow drops.

Then this past month was erratic when it came to inducing because of travel away from my partner (I was still pumping and tensing on my own) then vacation with my partner but we didn’t do much stimulating, and then I started dom immediately upon our return along with moringa, shatavari, beta glucan and goats rue.

I started on 30mg per day of dom and upped it to 40mg as of last night by taking an additional pill in the middle of the night. This morning marked the first real fluid change since the start. It’s not quite milk yet but it’s no longer yellowish… more milky clear. It’s also less/not salty. It’s also significantly higher in volume than the usual drop I would get. It’s enough to leak into and around the pump flanges but not enough to accumulate in the pump. It’s also a bit frothy in consistency.

I’m over the moon at how quickly things seem to be working now with dom. I also know it’s not just the dom… It’s been a lot of work and will continue to be so. But it’s been a joyous and rather sexy labor. It’s given me and my partner something beautiful to connect over and look forward to (in addition to all the other things that make us great). What fun!

I’ll update when there’s actual sprays… won’t be long now. My goal is to have any quantity by the end of summer and 8 ounces by the end of the year.

Just wanted to give some encouragement to my fellow non-bc, never been pregnants out there. This is a good community, especially when even my (very progressive) friends look at me like I have 5 heads when I tell them.

ETA: no side effects to speak of with the dom.
