I had been wanting to try these flanges for so long, and now I have them, but holy hell they have been a freaking nightmare to get used to. For anyone who doesn't know about these, they are silicone flanges for elastic nipples, but you have to kind of apply them to your nipples, rather than just shove them in and go. Definitely go look up their website and check out the videos if you're curious. I am in touch with their support right now for additional tips, but it seems like no matter how correctly I think I'm aiming them in, my nipples just end up going in whatever direction they want except straight into the tunnel. Left, right, up, down, the tips smashing into the walls. And then after 10 minutes of applying, checking, and reapplying, I sometimes get lucky and get them on, but by then I'm frazzled and not even interested in pumping anymore. And let's not even start on doing all that and then attempting to carefully integrate my hands free bra. At this point, I have been using normal hard flanges to pump during the day while working and then messing with these at night when it isn't as critical for me to get it going as quickly. It really sucks because once I do manage to get them on, they feel absolutely wonderful, but the experience of that feels downplayed entirely by how hard it feels to get them on correctly.
If you have used these flanges, tell me about how it went for you! My nipples are 17 mm and elastic as hell, for reference. Also, for anyone who has used these with a Spectra, did it seem like you had to use a higher level of suction than usual when using these?
