I am using Freemie Slimfit inserts with my freemie liberty 2 pump. I measured both sides ... 21mm for left and between 21/22mm for right.

My left doesn't swell but is elastic. I have figured that 24mm with the lowest setting works best for my left.

My right is becoming a problem. It is elastic and swells to any size I put it in, even at the lowest setting, after a few minutes of pumping. I have tried double pumping and single pumping with it, and I get the same results. I have figured out that lower setting is good for the elasticity but the swelling is another story. The lowest size I can go is 21 where it doesn't feel like it's being restricted. I have tried 24 and 25 with it but it still swells and hurts after a few mins now. I have tried different lubrication options and have found that the Lansinoh organic nipple balm works best as it hurts a little less & was comfortable for a while. I have tried using a little bit to using a really good coating within the insert. I have also tried putting it on both the insert and my nipple. Still hurts. I have also tried fully silicone flanges (lacteck) which have worked in the past but not this time.

I am at a complete loss of what to do. Freemie does have insert sizes 22 and 23, which am giving thought to getting to give them a try as those are the only sizes am missing.

I am pumping every 2 hours for between 15-20 mins around the clock, except for 2 sessions for getting enough sleep. Am thinking of decreasing to 10 mins each session for a while hoping it will help.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as am out of ideas.

I am on day 51 of inducing, no output yet (sometimes I get a little on my left), and am taking goats rue, moringa, shatavari, and sunflower lecithin.
