Hi!
I've decided to start my lactation journey-again. I started back in August 2023 and took a break from December 2023 until now.
I still used my haakaa daily for stimulation and did hand expression when I took a shower, but no dedicated schedule.
I only tried to induce with pumping. I ended up balancing my hormones, becoming more insulin sensitive, and losing 25lbs. I never produced more than clear drops. I take 20mg of adderall, so I figured that was the issue.
I decided to restart my journey again. Nothing super regimented, but I am adding Legendairy Milk Liquid Gold and Moringa. Hopefully, I can raise my prolactin enough to overcome the adderall.
For me, producing drops has been the easy part. I produced a teaspoon of yellow duct fluid on the second pump when I first started. That occurred for 3 days then it was just cloudy beads.
Now, that I've restarted it's just clear beads each time I hand express (I'm not a fan of the pulling pumping sensation).
I guess I don't understand all the excitement around clear drops. Can someone help me understand?
BTW- I'm 40, no pregnancy/children, never lactated.
