So I brought this up to my girlfriend just over a year ago and she was surprised but pleasantly so. We looked into starting and we did, but she wasn't committed to the schedule like she needed to be to achieve lactation. Me not wanting to push her told her we could just give up on lactating for now atleast and just nurse as we liked, but that upset her as she felt like she was letting me down and it kind of was but pushing her to lactation would have been worse, I didn't want her to feel obligated. We tried starting again and she was more comited this time but again failed for other reasons out of our control. Now a few months later we're finally getting back into a stable spot where we can restart the process and we have some dom. I'm hoping we can achieve lactation but if not it won't be the end of the world just nursing off her is enough because it's her and if we achieve lactation great if not we'll atleast we tried!
