Inducing progress (prior pregnancy) and a question!
Post Body

Hi! I’m 25F trying to induce atm. Two years ago, I had a late term pregnancy loss and I was beginning to lactate then. Producing yellowish droplets at that time but they went away, obviously.

I’ve been actively working at inducing for two weeks. I read that having mature breast tissue helps so I give credit to any progress to that!

First week was frequent massage, marmet technique after heating pad/massage before and after pumping, and using a cheap pump every 3 hours for 20 minutes. Nothing much to report in the sense of changes. Only that my breasts felt heavier, more tender and started feeling bit lumpy toward the turn of the new week.

Second week has been introduction of supplements and pump upgrade. Currently taking Liquid Gold and Milkapalooza by Legendairy in addition to my first week routine with massage/pumping. As of yesterday (11 days in), I produced clear/milky liquid while pumping. Not a ton but probably at least a few drops from each breast. Enough to form a little puddle in the bottles. This only happened with two pump sessions yesterday. Today, nothing from either breast. I’m noticing my nipples are hard from basically the slightest touch and hypersensitivity, more lumpiness that eases with massage.

I have ordered domperidone (before even starting week 1 properly) but it’s anyone’s guess when that will arrive!

My question is:

Does early progress ebb and flow like this typically?

I know patience is crucial but I was super disheartened to have not produced anything so far today after huge progress! :(
