Turns out even a family that chose to adopt you can be toxic. I tried protecting my little sister from my adoptive mothers biological children, got chewed out for it. This is the last time I’m allowing it to happen but I feel very much like my adoptive mother chose her biological kids over the ones she adopted. Adoptive mom is in the hospital. Told her that my little sister was not being fed properly, plus she’s on babysitting duty for my nephew (adoptive mom’s biological daughter’s son) all day which I found to be unacceptable. I Instacart some groceries to little sis, and let adoptive mom know that this happened and she went back and yells at little sis for telling me how things were at home. I’m fed up like how are you not upset with your own daughter, and how am I being blamed for starting shit? Everyone in the family thinks that little sis lied about food, and I stressed mom out for no reason. I’m done.
