Yesterday started out pretty normal, I left my house to go to a protest and upon arrival I get a call from my sister (who was also adopted, we’re biological siblings) that our dad wants to meet us. I agree, and my father and my older sister drive up to meet us and talk things out.
Thing is, I’m still living at home with my adoptive family, and my adoptive mother only just told me about my being adopted in the summertime of last year. Apparently she’s kept quite a few details of why my biological family never got me and my sister back to herself, and now I’m questioning the lady that raised me. I don’t even know how to tell her that I’d like to get to know them, without replacing my adoptive family with them. It seems like she has something against my biological family even though I’ve seen the proof that they tried to get me and my sister back before the adoption. Advice?
